Hello fellow Sustainablers, hope you're staying warm, dry, and healthy as the weather has taken a turn towards winter!

Wanted to invite you all to join us for the October meeting of SCH this Thursday!

West Seattle Tool Library Tour
Have you ever needed a tool for one quick and simple project, and didn't want to buy it?  Or what about a really expensive tool that you just can't afford?  Tool Library to the rescue!  Join us as we learn about the West Seattle Tool Library, as well as what it takes to build our own tool library in Capitol Hill!

We'll meet at 6:20pm and, depending on weather and attendance we will either a) caravan in cars (if we get enough drivers), b) bus down together, or c) bike down (weather is actually looking dry!). Feel free to meet us there, as well.
Hope to see you there!
Please RSVP, and state your preferred mode of transport, and if it's by car, if you can drive.

SCH October Meeting
Thursday, October 25

6:20p Meet to travel down to West Seattle.
At Cal Anderson Park on Pine, between the tennis courts and the baseball field (across from Molly Moon).
If we leave by bus, we will leave on the bus scheduled at 6:35, so please be there by 6:30 at the latest (in case it is early)!  Biking will take approximately the same amount of time.

7:15p Tool Library tour at Youngstown Cultural Center (at Delridge and Genesee; go up the north parking lot ramp and around to the back)
PS, if you'd like to join the planning meeting, we will be meeting for about 30 min after the event. Please feel free to stay and give us your input!

You can RSVP either on facebook,onMeetup, or just reply here to let us know you're coming!

We're also finishing our plans for our November meeting, with Cascadia Power and the Community Power Works program, to keep our energy bills low, so keep your eyes out for the next meeting!
