also! if you weren't at the meeting a few weeks ago and didn't here the deal with the Oneworld bazaar and TSC here it is. The theme of the bazaar is fair trade/responsible consumerism, so there is going to be a lot of fair trade crafts, coffee, chocolate, local stuff, all that stuff. The bazaar is Friday December 2nd and all the TSC groups are getting their own educational table relating to fair trade. Our table is "talk about it"- so essentially how to talk about fair trade and how to convince your friends to buy fair trade. We (Maggie, Dani, Lauren from oneworld, and I) have come up with signs and the basics of the table but we need EVERYONE's help to be at the table and talk to people! It wouldn't be that hard, we're making an info sheet for the people running the table so they know what they're talking about. shifts are only an hour long, and it would be really fantastic if everyone could do at the VERY VERY VERY LEAST 1. but PREFERABLY 2. because it would be nice to have two people there at a time. PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK AND TELL ME WHAT SHIFTS YOU CAN DO. the shifts are... 10:30 to 11:30, 11:30-12:30, 12:30-1:30, 1:30-2:30, 2:30-3:30, and 3:30-4:30. remember this is a friday. i'll bring this up at the meeting again but PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE help. thanks :)
so in short, do research, come to the meeting at 7:30 tomorrow in east, and sign up for a shift for the oneworld bazaar :)
