Mission statement

I endorse Beryl's view that the mission statement should be short and succinct, yet encapsulate the core aims of the group. I attach yet another proposed version, but am rather wishing we hadn't embarked on this tortuous process.

I'm happy with the strapline 'thinking globally, acting locally' although it is a variant of one that's been going the rounds for years, used by FOE among others. 

Please note that our current leaflet has the strapline 'Working for the environment in Stafford Borough' and there are still a few hundred of these to distribute!
