Hello everyone,
One of my friends over at The Nature Conservancy just let me know about an event they're hosting next Friday at Cafe Asia (near Farragut West). If anyone would like to join me it should be fun, supports a great cause, and will be a good opportunity to hang out with the DC environmental crowd over drinks.

Next week, the Meet-Up “20’s and 30’s Going Out Group” is hosting a charity happy hour for The Nature Conservancy. 80% of the proceeds will go towards an oyster restoration project that the Conservancy will be working on for the next several years. We will be creating an oyster reef that covers 370 acres in one of the Chesapeake Bay’s tributaries: that’s larger than the National Mall!
