Subject: Dogs Found - Please Forward!
Sorry for the mass mailing but I'm hoping someone can identify the two dogs in the photo. We found them yesterday at the New Hope building (601 Scarboro Rd) that sits in front of Y-12, outside the fence. I saw the dogs come running from Oak Ridge (from South Illinois Avenue) across the grass in front of Y-12 and to our building, so I'm assuming they came from Oak Ridge.
They're sweet dogs, not all all scared of people, and clearly well-cared for. The black one had a leather collar but neither had id tags.
We turned them in to the Oak Ridge animal shelter yesterday, hoping the owners would find them there but the shelter's full and won't guarantee them a space past Saturday. If you don't know whose they are, please forward to anyone you know in Oak Ridge that might know them.
Thanks,
