Freshers Week Prep next week!

Hello All!!

 

Hope you all had a really good summer, wherever across the globe you have been!  I also hope and pray that it's been a time of spiritual refreshment and re-energising and God has been pressing on your heart a desire to serve Him even more this year at university!

 

In just under 2 weeks time thousands of students will be coming to Sussex for the first time.  As the CU we need to meet them, greet them, get them to churches and involved in the CU!  The more people that get involved with what the CU is doing the more people we can reach with the gospel.  Just think, for every one of you that get's involved, that's probably 5 or 6 more people that we can speak to about Jesus and getting involved in churches.  Please don't think that someone else will help out - we really need YOU to be involved in freshers week!!!!

 

So, next Thursday (25th September) we will be having a planning and prayer evening for the freshers week events.  Whether you are signed up to do something practically yet or not - please make every effort to be there.  It's going to be at 7pm at Jon Carroll and Jonathan Fossey's new house which is 3 Ashurst Road in Moulsecoomb (map http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=3+ashurst+road%2C+brighton.+bns+4pj&countryCode=GB )

 

I cannot exaggerate how much I want you to come and be there for that meeting and get involved in Freshers week.  If you can't make the meeting there is still loads of things that you can help out with in Freshers Week, so please please please let one of us know and we'll tell you the best way to get involved.
