New Jersey Election Law (ELEC) requires the SCRC to report the Name, Address, Occupation, Employer’s Name & Address of each individual who contributes $300 or more in a calendar year.

ELEC requires the SCRC to report the Name, Address, Occupation, Employer’s Name & Address of each individual who makes a currency (cash) contribution regardless of the dollar amount.

Per ELEC, the SCRC is not permitted to accept donations from a Partnership, LLP or LLC as entities.  Election law requires the donation to be accompanied by a letter of attribution and is a contribution from the partner or member who has signed the check.  This letter must be signed by the partner(s) making the contribution.  The Name, Address, Occupation, Employer’s Name & Address are required to be reported.
