I have an idea for a way for us to get paid to show our work! I want
to do a traveling film festival project, where we take our films on
tour across the country or across the states to screen at various
artist run centres who are willing to cooperate with us.

This grant sounds like a great fit. They can't be student works and
the deadline is May 1st. Work has to have been completed before this
deadline, and it needs to fit into a curatorial statement. (ie it
can't just be a bunch of random shit, there has to be a thread). But
it can be us deciding to show our members work, rather than having an
outside curator. I am going to call them tomorrow to find out if the
artists have to be "professionals" or if they can be "emerging".
Probably a more realistic goal is to get this ready for the November
deadline, but i'll talk to them and see what's what.
