1. What did I do yesterday?

Yesterday I focused on researching and planning the Flask-based architecture for the SUSI transcription and translation service, with primary emphasis on enabling support for multiple audio input types instead of the current microphone-only workflow. I also explored API structure, request handling for audio uploads/URLs, modular service organization, and how the existing transcription pipeline can be adapted into reusable Flask endpoints.

2. What do I plan to do today?

Today, I will begin implementing the initial Flask application structure and API endpoints for handling multiple audio input types. The focus will be on setting up the base routing, request validation, and organizing the transcription workflow into modular service layers for future integration and scaling. A better detail to this has been explained in Issue no (#51).

    3. What is blocking me from making progress?

Currently, there are no technical blockers. I was thinking if Aarav’s PR (#48) can be merged before making further local changes so the Flask service implementation can be built on top of the latest updated repository structure and workflow.
