Dear All,

Great to have you all actively participating in getting your Deed of
Apartment registered. Last Sunday we added 9 members and this Sunday
again 9 members have given their Deed of apartment to be registered.
The advocate will be again available at the Community Centre this
Sunday the 10th of March. Would appreciate if we all contribute in
getting at least 5 members each who can submit documents for Deed of
Apartment. Let’s make a collective effort to make Sushant Estate a
better society, for us and for our next  .

Please Note:Incase any one has an Whatsap id and has not been added on
the Sushant Estate Community Group please revert along with your
Name,House number,Tower Number and mobile number in this mail so that
you can be added in the community group.

Two important and interesting news that came out in "Friday Gurgaon" - a weekly newspaper that publishes (as the name suggests) Gurgaon specific news. It places a lot of focus on real estate issues.

 

The first link is about an interview with lawyer (Pooja Aganpal) as she discusses the common issues faced by RWAs and residents. She is the lawyer for other RWAs too, including World Spa and Orchid Petals.Very interesting read indeed, and one that informs us about our rights as apartment buyers and how builders are cheating us.

The second piece of news is from World Spa, who commemorated their first "Independence Day", i.e. the anniversary of the unilateral take-over of maintenance from the builder. This sudden and extremely successful take-over is not only an example for all RWAs on how to fight for our rights, but also tells us about the importance of detailed planning, and collective efforts.
