All the sarpass trek aspirants please register yourself and send me your
"MEMBERSHIP ID", cost of registration is 136/Rs, you can upload the passport size photo or send the photo later.

Hi All,

Guys I spoke to one of my frnd who works in clear trip... he said if d tickets r booked from the employee directly in his account, he will b getting a discount of Rs. 400/- per person + some additional discount of around Rs. 1000 - 1500/- on the whole booking.

If anybody else ve a better option than tis, pls let us know.

@Rakesh: hey arrange 4 a meeting sometime in tis week, so that v can decide upon hw to collect money 4 booking n proceed further.

Srinidhi, u can check with your friend for 11 round trip tickets from Bangalore to Chandighar, what is the least he can give in May, also I most probably think there will be no non-stop flights, it will all be with a stop at Delhi, so if you could find out the least stop-time in Delhi and we need to be in Chandighar by lets say between 3 and 4, so we can be comfortable to take a bus or whatever mode of transport from there by 7 or 8. I think if he could give us so much, that is the max, go ahead and ask him and lets finalize soon.

(ALSO, ANYONE GAME TO STAY THERE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS MORE AND GO AROUND?  RAKESH WAS TELLING SOME WHITE WATER RAFTING AND ALSO SOME HOT WATER SPRINGS) PLEASE GIVE IT A THOUGHT...WE ARE TRAVELING QUITE FAR, WHEN WILL WE GO THERE AGAIN? JUST ONE OR MAX 2 DAYS, WHOEVER CAN DO THAT)

I am ok to stay. I am applying for 2 more days of leave in any case. So I am ok with this. My take is it will be good if all of us stick to same plan. As Raghu said we are going so far. Few more days will not make much difference.

Got some info on flight tickets from my frnd... As per our requirement there are two flights which v can look with less fare, less time gap and reach Chandigarh in time:

1. King Fisher Class (IT-214) at 9:55 AM from bangalore to Chandigarh. One stop in Delhi with flight change over. 2 hrs gap b/w flights. Reach Chandigarh by 03:20PM.
2. Jet Lite 9W-7126 at 12:55PM from Bangalore to Chandigarh. Again one stop in Delhi, no flight change over. Same flight reach Chandigarh by 4:55PM.
   

For return from Chandigarh to Bangalore, the last flight from Chandigarh is at 05:30PM no flight after this. There are quite a few options at this time. So v will reach bangalore by 11:00PM midnight approximately.

Further the total amount comes to Rs. 1,25,000/- approximately. Around 11K per person. Best option to do payment is by Credit Card (1 or 2 of our Credit Card details to be sent to my frnd based on the credit limit). Later other can pay them if they wish :-).

So can v decide upon any one of the above. Better to meet this Friday evening around 6:00 or 6:30 PM (since i wont b in blore on saturday n sunday). Kindly post your availability tomorrow evening.

We will be finishing when is what we need, actually I think we will be ending the trip according to the calculation of 11 days on Sunday, May 27, so Monday morning we can take a flight, or my plan of staying a couple of days, or at least one day, go to Manikaran, do the rafting, and then start Tuesday, only virtually only 1 more day all will be taking off, what say???  as per last mails, arun is fine, I am there, my nephew (Chetan is also fine) any other takers....ALSO, DON'T WANT KING FISHER FOR NOW, THOUGH THE AIR HOSTESS' ARE GREAT, THEY ARE IN A LOT OF PROBLEMS AND DON'T KNOW WHEN THE FLIGHTS GET CANCELLED, SO JET LITE IS FINE I GUESS, AND THE TIMING IS ALSO PERFECT I THINK.

With 1 extra day we can plan for Manikaran.

• 11th day(27th) we can leave kasol after the Breakfast,lets say around 11AM.
• River Beas is about 20Km itseems, there we can do rafting.
  
• Manikaran is about 6 Km from kasol, there we can visit 2 Hot Springs.
• we need to find an accommodation for that night,or leave that night to chandigarh
  

The above plan holds good only based on our condition on 11th day, We have no idea how the 11 days trek will be!!!

Call me Rakesh on this, even if u r booking 28th late evening, it is same as booking a noon one i guess, as the bus from kasol to chandighar will be overnight, so what do we do when we come there, so better book something on mid day, so we come there, fresh up and catch a flight, whatelse we need time for until evening, also cant we make it 29th, one more day... :D
