Welcome to
Survivalrange, place where we review all the coolest survival gadgets. At SurvivalRange we are a team of passionate persons dedicated to helping people prepare for the unexpected. We supply priceless info and advice on how to survive in all kinds of emergency situations. For example recently
we reviewed The Thrunite TN12 Pro. It is the ideal flashlight for those who enjoy
exploring the great outdoors or for those who require a reliable and
largely movable flashlight for their job. Also check out our articles about
RINO Ready Companion Survival System can save the day. This is a review of a product called the “Rino prepared friend”, which is a pre made, off the
counter two person survival
system. We also feature article about fish finders . It is a very useful tool for everyday fishing, but this also
makes it very important to have in a survival sitution where finding a
food source is a priority. It should be easy to read and use and last several days on a full battery charge. Always a bonus to have wide coverage and better bottom definition. Some of the best fish finders are low maintenance and portable with a great target separation. On February 15, 2023 we published an article about using Bows for survival:
The SAS Recon Folding Survival Bow is a top-of-the-line compact hunting bow designed and made in the USA
in limited quantities. It is the larger version of the SAS Tactical
Survival Bow and has been engineered to withstand decades of use. This
bow can be quickly deployed, and it stores takedown arrows inside the
riser for a compact, transportable weapon that can fit in a bugout bag
or other small cargo areas. It is 24.3 inches long and does not require
any assembly, but it is too long to fit into one-day packs like its
smaller 21-inch counterpart.Yesterday I put up an article about
bracelets. Usually survival bracelets are supposed to be very strong and can handle repeated use. They come in Dog Tag, Cobra Weave and Handcuff Key variations. Most popular addons are compass,
whistle buckle and flint fire starter. Of course Bear Grylls has his own line made by Gerber
Most commonly they are made with 550 Paracord and stainless steel clasps.
Lets see what the experts said... And of course we can't forget military Surival kits:
As far as a prefabbed emergency kit goes, and this one has it all plus
more. The D Bag is well constructed and will take a beating. The quality
of the things is standard for the kitted emergency business. Think
about that these things keep you alive when a catastrophe strikes. If
you want a top of the line knife or different food, then take the time
to build your kit or supplement this one, and I love the Zeus movable
jump starter and the many alternatives for starting a fire. The pack
also holds a good sized water bottle that you may be able to use to
store the water that you filtered with the Sawyer filter or boiled over a
fire. This kit is heavy. So taking it as a bug out bag could be a bit
much. But, leaving it in your DECKED Drawer system or the trunk of your
car will give you the security you need when on the road.
