Google "make free money online" and I can state you you'll find tons
of websites that attempt and make you think you can gain thousands of
dollars only by answering a couple of questions. Let's differenciate
between them.

Yes it is manageable to earn money with this method, but in order to
keep you from scams, let me tell you how it's done

As you scan this article, you probably googled "make free money
online" or anything similar to it before. Let me guess, you got
overwhelmed by all the web sites that promise huge amounts of money
simply for doing a few survey questions after signing up for a -
compared to the thausands of dollars foretold - very small fee ($30 or
something like that).

Let me tell you one thing. Any website that predicts huge amounts of
money only for answering a couple of survey questions is a scam,
although it is accomplishable to make real money with this method. but
by making real money I mean smaller sums like $50 a month on average.
They make you think you can earn between $20 and $75 per survey, but
the reality is some other. most surveys rank between $3 and $5 and
don't occur too frequently, so if that's adequate for you, go for it,
but let me assure you this:

You don't need to sacrifice in order to earn from filling out surveys.
There's a website named theguruseye.com, where it's free to register
for paying survey opportunities, therefore no money spent, same sum of
money earned. looks quite easy, eh?

But one more advice from me to you: Always read the privacy policy of
the company offering the survey closely. Oftentimes they trade your
data to third parties, which means a grand pile of scam in your inbox,
so study it cautiously. Serious companies have something like "We do
not share personally recognizable information with other third-party
organizations for their marketing or promotional uses without your
consent except as part of a special program or feature for which you
will have the ability to opt out." in their privacy policy.

First I would like to thank Mike for posting here. He makes some good
points.

On my site ( http://making-money-on-surveys.com ) I do not ask to be
paid for the big list of LEGITIMATE survey companies. The sites that
offer to sell you a list of companies are themselves legitimate , as
they give you what was promised, but the survey companies on their
list may not be what I would call legitimate survey companies. I never
advertise these sites (such as Survey Scout) nor advise you to buy a
list of survey companies. Also we try not to lead anyone to think they
will get rich by taking surveys. I myself make any where from $500 to
$1000 a year from taking surveys. Very good for my household.

Like Mike said you should check a survey company's privacy policy,
however once again NO LEGITIMATE survey company will share/sell your
information (email, income or any other personal information).
I have one email address where my survey invites (from legitimate
survey companies) go and that email rarely gets any spam, and the spam
it does get ,I cannot prove it was a result of a survey company
selling my address.

What makes a survey company legitimate ? A legitimate survey company
is hired by a company, corporation (Kraft, Nabisco, IBM, etc.) or even
a Politician, to do research for them. To find out who buys their
product, etc., (which is why surveys may often ask personal questions
such as your income, race, location, etc.)
Some sites may send you a survey with a list of offers, that you must
select from. Those are not real survey companies. They get paid from
you selecting certain offers that are included with the survey. They
also get paid from the survey company that they are sending you a
survey for. We DO NOT include these on our list as we do not consider
them legitimate survey companies.

Some people ask me how my site makes money. We don't make much. The
money we do make comes from some referral links (some survey companies
pay us an incentive to send them new members) Also some survey
companies pay an affiliate company to send them new members which then
pays us to place links on our site. BUT we NEVER knowingly advertise
for any non-legitimate survey companies. And we ask that if you find a
link on our site that you believe is for a questionable survey company
that you let us know. We try to investigate all survey companies
listed on Making Money on Surveys, before we list them. And we ask for
donations on our site (beg).

Again thank you Mike for posting here. - Mr. Survey @ http://making-money-on-surveys.com
