DTS HD Master Suite

Is anyone having issues trying to run this suite under Windows 7 Home
Premium? It installs fine, but when I try to launch any of the
programs via the desktop short cut, it hangs. Task manager shows that
DTSJobQueue.exe is running, but nothing happens. i have checked
permissions, etc to no avail.

Doesn't your anti-virus software block DTSJobQueue.exe?

I am using Norton 360 and I am not receiving any messges that
DTSJobQueue.exe is being blocked, not can I find in Norton that it was
blocked. It must be something else. JMP

I have the regular issue that the encoding will not begin - just sits there showing 'Pending'

the solution is to reboot the PC - I  try again and it always starts encoding - strange one

try disabling your antivirus and see if that helps. I have AVG and
must disable it for it to run.

Just to close this off. I was neglecting in install Java re 6, and my
(new) computer did not have it pre-loaded. once I installed it the
shortcut initiates the software judt fine. So once again, it was
pilot error!

Me thinks that referencing "cracked" software is not something you should be making a habit of in this group.  I mean no disrespect.   - CP

It is likely the problem is because the software has been “cracked”

 

I imagine the only advice that could be offered would be to remove the pirated software and pay for and install a legitimate version.

Xp with 2gb ram,Vista with 3gb ram,10 with 4gb ram...

I don't know if you ever got a good answer to your dilemma with DTS Master Suite.  wasn't this a minnetonka product?  I think dolby took over the rights to this stuff and made it even more expensive.   Dolby's really good at that. - CP
