Not sure, but you might want to try ExactAudioCopy, if I remember the program right.   I feel like I used that with a dts-cd file where  I was having trouble getting seamless playback from track to track.  You might need to get the exact split points nailed down before, and then do a couple of test edits of the dts noise  to get them right.   Pretty sure EAC is free (for pc).    Anyway, good luck.    - CP

I have always used Nero to break the file into tracks before burning.

Jriver will do it automatically if you convert it as well.  It will also present the tracks individually even if they are in one file.  You must export into another format for this to work outside jriver.

Yeah , what Lokkerman said is definitely the way to go.

You can edit the .cue file with notepad if necessary to adjust the start and end times of the tracks.

If there is no existing .cue file, you can create your own, this is fairly easy, there is info regarding this on Wikipedia:

Good luck Riky

@ Riky

You need to get the exact split points ...use DTStrimmer[free] to get
your individual tracks.
No conversion needed!
Get it here:http://home.zonnet.nl/koelooptiemanna/graphics.html

Have a nice day!

@Riky

Before converting, you may try to change the file suffix in ".dts"...see if works.....
You can try dts parser too[free].
Cheers,
M

Hi Riky

You are going to too much trouble doing this.

Using .cue files as in my previous emails is the sensible way to do this.

Regards

Rob

Hi Riky

if you mean you have created a cue file by scanning the file you downloaded with IMGBURN then  there would only be one track in the cue file created, because it does not know about individual tracks.

You need to either get hold of a cue file for the normal version of the CD (as Lokkerman said), or you can create your own .cue file using notepad. (create new text file, save as .cue file)

Below is the .cue file information for the UK version of the Immaculate Collection CD – is this the album you meant?
If so, this can be copied and pasted into a notepad text file, and saved as type .cue

If this is not the correct album, or the track list is different, you can use it as an example of what is needed to make the cue file work for your album.

You can play it in Foobar to ensure each track is correctly indexed before burning.

Regards

Rob

Of course you could again let jriver do this for you...it automatically splits albums into individual tracks.  convert to another format (or the same) and you are done.  No need to mess with all this stuff unless you need a cue file...which you dont if you just use that program and choose convert file.  easy as it gets.

Riky use .cue file as per my previous emails.

I have done this before with DTS WAV files.

Might take some work on your part but as I said before you can play the cue file in Foobar and check the index is ok before burning (also with Foobar).

This is definitely the simplest and most user-friendly way to go.

Rob.

No problem Riky

It would take less then 10 minutes to be able to work out in Foobar the start/end times of the tracks (use the seekbar), create a cue file, and burn the file to CD with the individual tracks intact.

Don’t be shy – use the cue file information I provided below and take the bull by the horns mate.

It will be a simple matter for you to use this as a template for your file.

As I said before, create in notepad, save as .cue file – call it whatever you like, ensure it is in the same folder as the music file.

You would obviously need to change the name of the music  file from "Madonna – The Immaculate Collection.wav"” to match yours, and change the track names, and the start times of each track.

You seem reluctant to do this and I cannot understand why as it is not difficult and will cause no harm.

Regards

Rob.
