When i convert DTS files to FLAC's i have sometimes a new file called "....dts.fixed.wav"
When i do listen to the original and the 'fixed' DTS file, i do no hear any difference.
What would be the problem with those original DTS files ?

Again, you need to describe your process in more detail.

I start with a 96/24 DTS file, named file.dts, and do this in Audiomuxer

Tools-->Audio Conversion-->Select Audio --> [select file.dts,  loads file.dts into  the Audio Conversion window, the displayed file property is "DTS | 96000Hz | 1510 kb/s | 6Ch (3/2/.1)"

Then I  select the FLAC output button (I set it to level 8).

Audiomuxer decodes DTS -->wav  (in background) , then compresses wav -->flac.

The output file is named 'file.flac' and is 6 Channel, 96/24, and is ~4 times larger than the input .dts file.

If you expand the file in the Audio Conversion window m, it now shows EAC3to  process information  (eac3to is the actual processing pipeline software behind Audiomuxer).  You can show the info in full by right clicking and choosing 'Show Log Report'

My eac3to log report says:

//

==> C:\VIDEOTS\file.dts
> DTS | 96000Hz | 1 510 kb/s | 6Ch (3/2/0.1)

> Eac3to LOG -->
eac3to v3.31
command line: "eac3to.exe" "C:\VIDEOTS\file.dts" "C:\VIDEOTS\file.flac" -progressnumbers
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DTS-96/24, 5.1 channels, 0:08:31, 1510kbps, 96kHz
Decoding with libDcaDec DTS Decoder...
Encoding FLAC with libFlac...
Creating file "C:\VIDEOTS\file.flac"...
eac3to processing took 1 minute, 12 seconds.
Done.

AudioMuxer creates directly the 'fixed' file without any warning.

The log file:
==> C:\Users\wEbAddEr\Desktop\David Bowie & The Pat Metheny Group - This Is Not America.dts.fixed.wav
> DTS | 44100Hz | 1 411.2 kb/s | 6Ch (3/2/0.1)

> Created from "C:\Users\wEbAddEr\Desktop\David Bowie & The Pat Metheny Group - This Is Not America.dts.wav"
since the DTSWav file was corrupted.

As your log reported, this is an old-style DTS CD file (also called a DTS Music Disc) .  It is a dts stream encapsulated in a .wav file. To play it via 6 analog out cables, you need to decode the DTS first.

Audiomuxer sensed it as a 'corrupt' file, and tried to 'fix' it in preparation for decoding or other processing.  It did not decode it or change the format.

So you need to press the FLAC button.  This decodes the file to a 6channel PCM file called file.dts.fixed.flac file that looks normal when  I viewed it in Audacity.
