Church Presentations in South Carolina

After being out in Kansas, we traveled to South Carolina for two church presentations before returning home. One of the services was in a Spanish speaking church which is always a treat.

Too Stressful of a Trip (for our van)

Over the last half of the trip, our van started requiring more and more radiator fluids. When we arrived home, we took it to our mechanic. He determined that it was an internal leak which would require extensive repairs and that he would not recommend investing the money into fixing it. Some time back, the Lord had provided us with a second van which we are currently using but it has over 186,000 miles on it. We are asking for God’s wisdom, provision and safety as we drive this van.

Updated Prayer Cards and Media

Since children have a tendency to grow and change, we have updated our prayer cards and other materials. If you would like an updated prayer card just let me know or you can download it from our website.

Missions Conference in Pennsylvania

We had a great time presenting our burden for Peru in Berwick. In addition to speaking in the main service, we also had the opportunity to work with the children on two separate occasions. The Lord encouraged us through the fellowship with the church members as well as the other missionaries.

Back to Kansas

During the month of November, we traveled back out to Kansas to present our ministry in three different churches on three different weekends. God is using churches of many different sizes to do His work.

With Family at Thanksgiving

One privilege of traveling is getting to meet new people and also to see family and friends. We were able to spend Thanksgiving day with my grandmother, parents, and other family members. We were also able to attend a small family reunion and talk to relatives that I had not seen in many years.

Christmas Banquet

After returning home, I had the privilege to travel to Tioga, PA, to speak in a Christmas Banquet and to assist the church with some web site development. As we open our gifts this Christmas, let’s make sure to remember just how much God has given for us and to us. As He gave His life for us, let’s be sure that we are willing to give our lives to Him.

Prayer Requests

  • Praise that the Lord has protected us in our travels using the other van
  • Wisdom about purchasing another mini-van
  • Filling our schedule for next year
  • Increase in support as we would like to be fully supported and able to leave for the field by December, 2010
