Prayer for Missionaries & Pastors Pray that they would: Have wisdom toward unbelievers Persevere in tribulation Always give thanks in all things Be anxious for nothing Be content in whatsoever circumstance they are in Be devoted to prayer Have a spirit of wisdom Be strengthened in their inner person Expose the deeds of darkness Rejoice in the Lord always This list was on the back of the bulletin of one of the churches in Maine. It was compiled from the Bible by Spence Callahan. Meetings in Maine Back in July, we had the opportunity to present our ministry in Maine. Through that meeting we were able to make contacts for two more meetings in Maine but this time, we would get to experience a Maine winter. One of the joys of deputation is getting to know many godly people. Between meetings we were able to spend a week with the Callahans. We had a great week getting to spend time with them as well as Pastor Kline and his family and many others from the church who were willing to bring over a meal or to have us over. It is amazing how much we have in common through God. At the end of the week, we were also able to spend some time with the people  Increase in our Support As we continue praying that the Lord will allow us to arrive in Peru full-time by no later than November, we have heard from some new supporters raising our support level to 70%. We praise the Lord for the generosity of His people and their willingness to share what the Lord has given them. Short-term trip to Peru I am in the airport in Philadelphia waiting to fly standby to Miami and then on to Lima, Peru. I neglected to realize that this is actually a holiday weekend and was not able to get on the first flight since it was oversold. There is another flight tonight at 6:00 though it also may be oversold. Please pray that I will be able to make the flight. I will be in Peru from February 17th (or as soon as I can get there) until March 8th. As it is their summer time and camp season, I will be speaking in a pastor’s family camp, and in a college and career camps. Sandwiched between the two camps, I will be flying up to Arequipa, Peru, and conducting a leaders conference in the mornings of Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th as well as an all church conference Friday and Saturday evenings and all day Sunday. Please pray that God will use these speaking opportunities to spread the gospel and to better equip others to minister for His glory.
