Debbie's Dad

We do appreciate all of your prayers over these last few weeks for Debbie's Dad and for us. His surgery went well but there are still some serious mental and spiritual issues that need to be resolved. Without going into too much detail, he is resentful for the help that Debbie and her mom tried to render. He has allowed Debbie's mom to return home but is still choosing to believe that Debbie was and continues to try to hurt him and to turn everyone against him. We are still seeking to restore the relationship and to help him to understand exactly what did occur as his mind is twisting the facts. Please continue praying that God will intervene in a miraculous way to be able to restore Debbie's dad to full physical, mental and spiritual health and that the relationships that have been strained will be healed. We are back home for now and will continue our deputation schedule. We praise the Lord that we are at 74% of our needed monthly support and continue to ask the Lord to allow us to raise the remaining funds needed so we can be on the field by November.  In His care, Jeff Surrett Missionary to Peru www.surrett.org
