Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

Greetings from ASI

Today I am writing to you in distress as you are the supreme body of our great Association who decides the direction in which ASI has to go.

The mission by a group of members not to allow legally elected President to work, which started even before I took over at Gurgaon has taken criminal turn.

In view of the upcoming Zonal CME at Chennai Central Office the staff requested for leave on Friday (8 September) in leu of working Sunday (11 September) which was allowed by the Hony. Secretary. The office was closed today but since there was some state function in our auditorium one employee Mr. Mani was there.

I have been informed just now that few of our members (Dr Santhosh John Abraham, Dr S.K. Misra, Dr JW Ebenesh Bensam and others whom he could not identify) in a group forcibly broke open the office today morning, thrashed the employee, snatched his mobile, entered there, remained inside office for 6 to 7 hours, took away some files and documents, put two new locks and threatened the staff member that no staff shall enter without their permission. Staff members are in a state of shock and are frightened.

This is the preliminary information available which I am sharing with you as First Information Report. I am going to Chennai. Being constitutional head It's my solemn duty and obligation to protect the sovereignty of ASI, it's members, office and office staff. I promise you that I will continue to work for our beloved Association till my last breath.

Will update you further when I gather more information.
