Dear Colleagues,
we are looking for a source of diamond IIb (100) or (111) terminations with a good surface quality suitable for surface science experiments. Ideally good enough for STM - and I would be also interested in your experience with diamond STM imaging if you have any.

Please let me know about companies who offer this precious materials!

thank you, Petra

Greetings Petra Reinke,

My interest is in the high quality, defect-free single crystals for synchrotron X-ray applications. (100) is available in cm² sizes…(111) in mm² sizes.

I use:

Sorry, I have no STM/AFM/surface perfection information to offer.  I hope this helps.

Best,

Gary
