Position: Cerner Interface consultant
Duration: Long Term
Location: Remote
As a Cerner Subject Matter Expert, you will be working alongside a well known Cerner customer to liaison with their interfaces team to connect with disparate systems. A perfect understanding healthcare interfaces is required.
- An Interface Engineer is also expected to support interface validation/testing/deployment/documentation during the life cycle of the project.
- The role requires constant communication with the clients, vendors and project counterparts during the project cycle.
- Knowledge of HL7/FHIR (R4/STU3) along with HL7v2 is mandatory.
- Most importantly, work closely with the customer PoC to ensure the success of the program, communicate back to offshore on a timely and a systematic manner.
- Cerner Millennium, Cerner soarian exposure is required
• Install Cerner interfaces
• Troubleshoot and resolve system interface issues
• Support interface testing during the life cycle of the project
• Perform data migration and conversion programs
• Test data migration and conversion programs

• Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.
