Role: Technical Writer
 
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
 
Duration: 6 months
 
Job Description:
 
Responsibilities:
 
1. Write developer guides and conceptual docs for internal and external developers.
 
2. Create/update help centers, playbooks, and guides for various internal cross-functional teams.
 
3. Revise/edit existing documentation to improve them and maintain currency.
 
Requirements:
 
Experience in documenting large-scale and complex software systems and processes.
 
Expert at understanding the needs of a developer audience and creating appropriate content for them.
 
Ability to learn new authoring tools.
 
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple projects.
 
Mandatory qualifications:
 
4+ years of technical writing experience focusing on software developer audiences
 
Experience with version control software 
 
Ability to read and understand code in Java
 
Ability to use markup/markdown language (like HTML)
