Position Summary

This SAP Plant Maintenance (a.k.a. Enterprise Asset Management) Functional Analyst position is responsible for application enhancement assignments for PG&E’s Gas and Electric operation applications. The candidate will work closely with IT-Architects, Requirements Analysts, Developers, Testers and business subject matter experts. The primary responsibilities are to design and implement IT solutions for PG&E SAP work management modules.  Candidate must be highly motivated and take initiative to lead and work with other team members.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

• BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Business, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Application requirement gathering
• Knowledge of the Application Project Development Lifecycle
• Experience in system integration, including integration with IOT application
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Evaluate and document the “to be” solutions
• Create and document the agreed solutions via functional designs
• Translate business requirements to technical requirements and testing requirements

 

Desired:

• Skill and experience leading solution design and development on multiple SAP PM assignments
• SAP functional experience in Plant Maintenance
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience and solid technical understanding of PM objects
• Hands on experience with SAP HANA, and Business Suit on HANA
• Experience in Utility Industry
• Agile Methodology
• Primavera 6, Business Warehouse, and Materials Management
• Experience in Click Scheduling Tools

 

Responsibilities

• Taking the leadership of application enhancement or modification initiatives
• Perform business processes analysis needed for the projects or enhancements
• Provide expert consultations to satisfy business and company needs
• Facilitate, influence, qualify and build agreements on IT requirements and deliverables for project and enhancements
• Performs system functionality gap analysis and provides RICEFW inventory for assigned projects and enhancements
• Coordinate and facilitate assignments with developers, testers, and clients for application development cycle
• Provide knowledge transfer/training to other team members
• Translate business requirements to technical requirements and testing requirements
• Data conversion/migration, testing, training, and cutover activities
