Cybersecurity Architect (GSBR)

Key Duties and Competencies

• Responsible for guiding the design and implementation of solutions and services from a security perspective across in Client CSBG group using architecture standards, best practices and processes.
• Balance customer and company requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements.
• Technology architecture and management of Customer Service Business Group (CSBG) IT infrastructure, including definition and documentation of maintenance processes and procedures.
• Work with project teams, Client customers and business units to understand customer and company security requirements for solutions and determine how best to implement them
• Assist engineering teams in the development of the technical/functional designs and the associated documentation.
• Perform vendor evaluations for new technologies and changes to existing technology. Create and perform business case presentations related to learning from this activity and make appropriate recommendations with supporting information.
• Ensure appropriate proactive security measures implemented though vulnerability patching, configuration change and procedure change.
• Participate in cross-functional engineering teams to define, assemble and integrate cybersecurity components based on security standards, customer requirement, and business requirements (examples: hardware, software, availability, scalability, disaster recovery, monitoring, maintenance and reliability).
• Create training material related to secure coding, configuration and practices and perform cross-functional training sessions.
• Analyze and apply security coding standards to solutions in any phase of the software development lifecycle

Technical Experience

• Programming/scripting language familiarity C#, SQL, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, Python
• Windows (7/8/10), Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu), iOS and Android application development direct experience or familiarity with the development process
• BitBucket, Jira, Confluence

Work Experience/Education/Certifications/Travel

• At least five years of experience with security architecture, solution delivery, principles and emerging technologies. Designing and implementing security solutions including continuous improvement to those solutions and working with a cybersecurity team.
• Project management/delivery experience using Devops, Scrum and Agile framework, ReSharper for structured style management, gated check-ins, branch to environment source management, code reviews
• CISSP Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
• Requires travel Domestic/Intl - 25%
