Job Description:

DMAS is in the process of procuring multiple solutions within our in our new modular Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).  We are seeking a skilled business analyst with expertise in supporting multiple projects.  The projects represent various functions across the Medicaid agency, presenting an opportunity for diverse learning.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to collect business requirements.
• Experience working with automated workflow systems and Medicaid is a plus.
• Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working in a project management office or supporting projects.
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information, as well as clearly presenting this information to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter.
• Experience serving as project lead for complex projects.
• Develops and/or contributes to project reports including but not limited to: project status, budget, and dashboards.
• Ability to capture key elements in brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change.
• Experience working independently, effectively managing multiple tasks and directional changes
• Interpersonal skills, communication, facilitation and presentation (written and oral) skills
