Role: Datastage Engineer
Location: Remote
 
Core Responsibilities: 
Installation, Configuration and working knowledge of Packaged IBM Product -  DataStage v11.7
Installation/Configuration of Webservers like Apache, IBM HTTP Server, IIS 
Experience working with Databases like Snowflake, SQL server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL  
Experience with various Cloud Technologies and working knowledge of deploying applications in a Cloud Platform like Azure, AWS. 
Experience with Automation with tools like Ansible, Cloud formation. 
Expert knowledge in Tuning and Troubleshooting of JVMs. 
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux) Operating Systems. 
Good technical knowledge of application networking, firewalls and load balancing applications 
Experience working with ITIL v3 practices for Service Level, Problem, Incident and Change Management. 
Good scripting knowledge (Unix/Linux shell scripting, Python, YAML) 
Solid understanding of High Availability architecture and Disaster Recovery / BCP capabilities 
Good understanding of security best practices and how to implement performant solutions in a controlled environment. 
Experience managing SOX applications by implementing appropriate SOX controls.
