Job Description:
5+ years’ experience as a BI Analyst utilizing Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Service, Gateways using multiple sources including SAP BW/Native HANA. Power BI development and administration is required.
2+ years of experience using Business Objects BI Platform (BOBJ) –Configuration, Security, Administration, Managing Servers, Migration, Deployment, IDT, Webi, and BI Launchpad.
Primarily responsible for Requirement gathering, Analysis, BI architecture, design, build and support an enterprise grade highly scalable and high-performance BI platform. This position requires strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, Business Objects technologies.
Build relationships with business users and acts as a liaison between the business community and technical team. Facilitate business requirement definition sessions. Strong knowledge of business/process data flow.
Responsible for creating data modeling/ER diagrams and data flows.
Responsible for Building Data Analytics enterprise models using Microsoft’s Power BI and developing self-service models, data analytics.
Responsible for developing DAX queries in Power BI desktop and Power BI dataflows, publish and schedule Power BI visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop per business needs/requirements.
Interface with developers and business analysts to understand whether we can meet business and technical requirements. Ensure transition and documentation for ongoing system support.
Work with business partners and testing team to develop acceptance criteria / test cases to develop comprehensive test plan and perform needed application testing.
Leverage knowledge of data warehouse and BI methodologies to contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, developing timelines and resource estimates.
Design, document, and implement unit, integration, and regression test plans.
