9 yrs exp Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology. Substitutions:

Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.)

Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years.

Successfully completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application.)

Two (2) years of work experience as an Application Systems Analysis/Programming-Specialist; Application Systems Analysis/Programming-Intermediate; Application Developer-Senior may substitute for all of the required experience.

The scope of work requires the ideal candidate to collaborate with DOL stakeholders and is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence solution. Additional responsibilities include:

• Develop and perform tests on various enterprises and provide dashboard solutions with help of Cognos software and assist all end users
• Prepare reports for management with help of Cognos Report Studio.
• Investigate and resolve all data issues, analyze business requirements, and perform interview with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with customers and analyze test queries, analyze client issues, and assist all application analysts to translate workflow requirements to efficient data points.
• Prepare designs and code for various Cognos reporting objects and ensure compliance to industry best business practices.
• Schedule and ensure compliance to design code and test activities and prepare plans for same and design various dashboards and maintain required framework for processes.
• Provide training/mentoring support for end user Cognos development
