Plot Summary
Michael (Vijay Sethupathi) is a pizza delivery boy who lives with his girlfriend Anu (Ramya Nambeeshan), an aspiring horror fiction writer. Anu is pregnant and they decide to get married soon. Michael is an atheist who does not believe in ghosts or supernatural phenomena. One day, he delivers a pizza to a bungalow, where he encounters a ghostly apparition and a series of mysterious events. He tries to escape, but finds himself locked inside the house. He also realizes that his phone, bike and pizza bag are missing. He searches for a way out, but only finds more horror and danger. He also discovers that the house belongs to a retired astrologer named Shanmugam (Aadukalam Naren), who had predicted his own death by a ghost. Michael also finds out that Anu is somehow connected to the house and its secrets.
The film then reveals that Michael had planned to rob the house along with his friend Raghavan (Karunakaran), who had disguised himself as the ghost. They had also planted a fake pizza order to lure Michael to the house. However, their plan backfired when they encountered the real ghost of Shanmugam's daughter Smitha (Pooja Ramachandran), who had committed suicide after being raped by her father's assistant Bobby (Bobby Simha). Smitha's ghost had killed Bobby and Raghavan, and had also taken Michael's phone, bike and pizza bag. She had also called Anu and informed her about Michael's betrayal. Anu, who was heartbroken and angry, decided to take revenge on Michael by pretending to be in danger and asking him to come to the house. She then revealed the truth to him and stabbed him with a knife. Michael, who was bleeding profusely, begged for forgiveness and tried to explain his situation. Anu then realized that she still loved him and regretted her actions. She called for an ambulance and tried to save him. However, Smitha's ghost appeared again and dragged Anu into the darkness, leaving Michael alone and dying.
The film ends with a twist, showing that the entire story was actually a novel written by Anu, who had used Michael as her inspiration. Michael, who is still alive and working as a pizza delivery boy, visits Anu at her book launch event and congratulates her on her success. He also proposes to her and she accepts. They hug each other happily, unaware of the presence of Smitha's ghost behind them.
