To see if your machine meets these requirements, check your Windows version and build number by opening a Run dialog (Win+R), then type winver and select OK or Enter. Alternatively, enter the ver command in Windows Command Prompt. You may be able to update to the latest Windows version in Windows Update.
If you have an issue where the MSI is not accessible, you can download the installer that corresponds with the installed version via the PowerToys release page and then run the following command. You'll need to change EXECUTABLE_INSTALLER_NAME to the actual file name.
PowerToys uses an auto-updater that checks for new versions when the app is running. If enabled, a toast notification will appear when an update is available. Updates can also be checked for manually from the PowerToys Settings.
I checked the developer environment and can see there are a few packages, which probably were installed automatically when I created the site. However, I did the same (create a site from template) but the only package installed are the two portal template.
You need to see what data model your source and target sites are configured with. I got caught on this. My DEV site was created with standard data model and destination was enhanced... I was trying to use Xrm ToolBox to copy site from DEV to PROD and error message was "The Target environment does not seem to have Portals solutions installed". it's because sites with enhanced data model use different prefixes for portal related tables and tool laterally does not "see" target tables. standard data model sites use "adx_" prefix and enhanced data model sites use "mspp_" prefix.
Hello TurNET, It seems that I have the problem of different data model configurations between the two sites. What is the solution to work around this problem? Recreate the target site in destination environment with the standard data model? Is there another solution?
As per Oliver's post, but will add, if in your source environment you are not using Enhanced and started with one of the Dynamics 365 based portal templates also setup that same template in your target environment (e.g. if in your source you used Customer Self Service Portal, also install that Template in your Target before you move your portal)
