This year, even more than years past, we remember the brutal dormitory
attacks of July 1999, 18 Tir according to the Iranian calendar. These
brutal attacks that killed and injured Tehran University students led
to days of protests and the imprisonment of thousands of student
demonstrators. Then, just as now, protesters faced grave consequences
in their quest for freedom. We dedicate the evening to all those who
have lost their lives for freedom in Iran, and we remember…
This program will be bi-lingual in Farsi and English. All are welcome.
