Will Richardson (www.weblogg-ed) had the idea to coordinate a social
gathering of educational bloggers in San Diego last summer during
NECC.  David Jakes ( http://jakespeak.blogspot.com) picked the
location, and we used the SupportBlogging.com wiki to give out event
details and let people tell others they were coming
( http://supportblogging.wikispaces.com/NECC+EdBlogger+Meetup).

A wiki for edublogger "meet-ups" during future ed tech conferences has
been set up at http://edubloggercon.wikispaces.com .  There are already
30+ edubloggers signed up for a pre-NECC 2007 event (June in Atlanta),
and there are pages for FETC (Orlando this month), TCEA (Austin in
February), IL-TCE (St. Charles in February), and CUE (Palm Springs in
March).

Please feel free to add yourself to any of these meet-ups, to add
other events, and to help coordinate the meet-ups.
