Evaluating this awesome application for our needs and have following questions:
- Where is the metadata stored? Is it stored somewhere on your servers?
- Is there an option to migrate documents and metadata from our existing solution?

Hello Vikram,

Thanks for your interest in Metadrive! 

Let me answer your questions:

• Metadata is stored in the documents themself. We are using Google Drive API to save this information in the documents and the application runs in the user context, so we don't have access to any of your documents or metadata.
  
  We don't index the documents neither, we are just storing some metadata configuration like the type of the metadata, the name and so on.
  
  
• There is no migration needed to use Metadrive. Anyway, if you give us some details about your current solution we can explain you some ways to migrate from that solution to Metadrive.
