I see there is a gadget for using classic Google sites, but is there a way to integrate it with the new Google sites?

Hello Rob!

This is very nice question :)

Google has done an announcement regarding this point few days ago. Google sites can integrate web apps by the end of this week.

We will come back to you in a few days.

Hello Rob,

In case your Google Domain is configured in Rapid Release mode, the functionality to embed Metadrive in the new Google Sites is already working. In case your domain is configured in Scheduled Release mode, it will be available by the end of this month.

Ours is in Rapid and we have been already testing it:

IMPORTANT TIP: you can embed Metadrive in Google Sites in two different modes by changing the web address.

Let us know if you have any other question

My domain is currently in scheduled release mode. Is this available yet or do I need to wait longer? I am getting the following error (see attatchment) when trying to insert an embedded page: This will only show a link since no additional information was made available by the site

I'm uncertain if this is because of a configuration error or if this is not just not supported yet with a scheduled release domain.

Thanks for you help!

Cheers.
-kristen

Hello Kristen

Thanks for your email!

Short answer, in the worst case you will have this functionality this October 30.

Long answer, :) As you can see in the official Google Scheduled Release calendar gapps_c...@googleapps.com, the functionality has been released today

Google does a gradual roll out of new features over the world. This means that some domains can receive the feature before than others.

They state roll out could take between 1 and 3 days. Then in the worst case, in case your domain is the last in the queue, on Saturday you will have this feature available.
