Just tested the Spam-Blocker App; looks so far good fo me.
Nevertheless, I am having some questions:
1) is it posiible to export my created whitelist with custom rules (no need for contacts) as well as all Blacklist rules. So we can import to my wifes smartphone.
2) is it possible to add email alias names to sender blacklist like : MC-Afee, M-cAfee
MC-Afe and so on
3) what is the difference between Lincoln, Hamilton and Jackson donations besides the different prices?

Thx for coming back to me

Hi Thomas,
Thanks so much for testing the app and for the great questions!

1) You can use the "Transfer settings and data" option in Settings to export and import your whitelist and blacklist rules to another device. That should make setting up your wife’s phone easy.

2) For sender aliases, you’ll need to add each variation manually for now. Though it ensures they’re properly blocked.
We appreciate the feedback. Wildcard or pattern matching for sender names is a great idea and we’ll consider it for a future update.

3) Lincoln, Hamilton, and Jackson tiers all unlock the same benefits
: full access to all current and future features of the app. The only difference is the price. It just gives you flexibility in how you’d like to support us.

Let us know if anything else comes up!

Best,

Thx for very fast comprehensive support.
YOU made my day.
We will donate 3 or 5 Euro first and see if white ans blacklist is working.
We may donate more for my wifes second account.

Thx sooooo much.
PS: I can't understand why this great  App is only rated 2.7 in Google. Unbelievable

We are glad the support helped, and we hope the whitelist and blacklist work exactly as you need. If anything comes up, just reach out. We are always happy to help.

Regarding the rating, thank you for noticing. Sometimes ratings reflect early versions or isolated experiences. If you are enjoying the app, a short review on Google Play would truly mean a lot to us and help others discover it as well.

We hope to have you and your wife as long term users.

Warm regards,

Jim, I am a bit confused.

21th February I donated Hamilton via an upgrade directly from the App (not via Google Play Store) to test all unlocked features especially the Blacklist.
Today 24th February I got am full refund and Soam-Blocker is now again with all features of the "free" Version. For example, I deactivated arabic and would like to activate again. I got an message that I need an upgrade/purchase; something like that.
Could you please let me know what happend and how to proceed correctly with an second Hamilton upgrade.

Thx in advance and greetings from Germany

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry about the confusion here.
We recently had to update our internal tool that handles billing and upgrades. We actually pushed an app update just yesterday to fix these unexpected refunds.
What most likely happened is that the old billing flow triggered an automatic refund, which then put the app back on the free version. Google's automatic refunds take 72 hours, so I should be able to see the final status on my side in about three days.
For now, could you please try updating the app to the latest version from the store and see if it fixes the issue? We're keeping a close eye on this to make sure it doesn't happen again.
If it still acts up after the update, no stress. I'll follow up once the 72-hour has passed and help you with the best way to proceed with a second Hamilton upgrade.

Thanks a lot for your patience and for testing this out.

Best,
Jim - Maxlab Mobile
