can....but the mark will be different......because...I would prefer academic related publication rather than trade related publication.

Understood. We have actually completed a review of 1 article using an editorial comment. If that is the case, we will revert to using 100% academic related publication and the one already done we will put it on standby just in case we run out of time.  

 

One question that we need to pose is that, looking at the template that you gave us,  the topic was an excerpt from a case study i.e. “ TPM can go beyond maintenance: an excerpt from a case study” . The

variables, findings and future research column indicated that the focus is on the excerpt itself. Can we have a smaller focus from the case study or we have understood wrongly as we have not seen the original publication i.e. we must digest the whole publication?

 

Much appreciated if you can clarify the above.

the TPM article....explains what will be the next ambition of the authors....they look forward to analyse the TPM and study together with JIT & TQM. The most important thing is you must go through the whole article and go to the concluding remarks...and see what will be the direction of the research. Sometimes, the article has "future research" section, sometime they combine it with "conclusion" section..

it depends a lot on the article itself

Thank you for the quick reply. We apologize for taking your time, just wanting to be sure and also for the reason that some references or articles sometimes starts with outsourcing in general with  a later focus on the SCM as an example. Anyway, we will keep our focus and I hope the rest of the class taking the other 5 topics will be informed as well.
