Best app to test

Hi
can u suggest me an app to test this local host API proxy
i have an android phone, Win7, Ubuntu boxes i just need a small
instruction how to use this API

The easiest "app" to test the local proxy is cURL from the command-line, something like the following:

curl -i -u user:pass http://localhost:8080/1/statuses/mentions.xml

Replace "user:pass" with a username/password you setup (oAuth authorized) during the local proxy installation and one-time setup.

The result should be the same as the "mentions" tab on twitter.com (except in XML)

the best app to use in andoid phone is twigee its supports custom API and basic auth
