Lisa Cowan from the Red Hook Initiative has authored an excellent report on the role & points of view of activists and community organizations in the aftermath of Sandy. It's based on 30 interviews and participation in dozens of meetings and conferences across the city over the past two years. It's funded by the North Star Fund.
