Collapse the Folder Tree in the Bookmark Manager

Is there no way to add a setting to the functionality of this extension that allows you to collapse the Folder Tree in the Bookmark Manager?

The fact is that when searching in the Bookmark Manager, the Bookmark Tree can expand many folders very much, and for their subsequent collapse, you have to go through all these folders and subfolders to manually collapse them. And if there are a lot of bookmarks and folders, then you have to spend a lot of time on this alone. And in the browser itself, there is no functionality for performing this action.

Unfortunately I fumbled my phone while moderating the new messages and hit "reject". I didn't mean to do this and I'm not trying to hide critical messages! Sorry, GothamNY. If you wanted to resubmit I'd try not to refumble, but I can't find a way to retrieve accidentally rejected messages here.

My response to the original question would agree with GothamNY: I need to focus on core features for now and evidently some people are experiencing bugs. But I will add the suggestion to my list and return to it when core features are taken care of. 

And GothamNY, I'm sorry you're experiencing problems. Version 0.5.4 should fix a couple of bugs (released just over a week ago) and the next version (coming soon) will fix some more. The upcoming version will also improve duplicate identification and removal, adding a couple of much-requested options.

No worries, stuff happens. Here's a bit of info: I had v 0.5.4 installed, not sure when it updated but as of yesterday no workie. I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled it based on the fact that you mentioned there had been an update and voila, it started sorting again. I would assume the update isn't exactly fixing things automatically as some bad stuff apparently is lingering that only an uninstall will remove. Not sure if this is something you can look into. Thank you for the fix.

When you say it wasn't working before you reinstalled, was it sorting that wasn't working, or removing duplicates, or both? Do you remember whether the settings page was showing all the settings as disabled (a bug that I did see myself on an earlier version before reinstalling)?

Nothing worked, it didn't sort, it didn't find dupes. Uninstalled 0.5.4 from chrome, rebooted, and then reinstalled, and as I said it all started working. So, I've probably had the new version installed since April 12 but apparently, it didn't overwrite bad settings or fix the issue; a complete uninstall/reinstall did.
