0.60 doesn't seem to sort my bookmarks anymore

Not sure if specifically related to the update per se, but the timing fits as to when it seems to have stopped sorting.

Using chromium version info below, on arch linux with gnome 40 desktop

Version 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit)

All of my bookmarks are in subfolders off the main bookbar in chrome, selecting/deselecting the ignore bookmarks bar option and trying both ways makes no difference.

Also selecting and deselecting automatic sorting and clicking the sort button with both options doesn't work either.

You are right. Version 0.6.0 had a bug that messed up sorting - sorry for that. Version 0.6.1 came out a couple of days ago and should fix it. 

Your browser should get the update automatically. If it doesn't, try going to Manage Extensions and pressing Update.

Sorry to hear that. If you do ever decide to try it again, there have been a number of improvements and bug fixes since then.

FYI installed  0.6.1 yesterday.  Tried unsuccessfully to get a sort to complete.  Found this group today via the recommendation on the extension page.  @compute's note 10 months ago ("This one works.  Recursive Bookmark Sorter") was appreciated.  No GUI with options, but... ...works.

Posting this for anyone else who comes here trying to figure out why sync does not work.  Not sure if extension is still maintained given the almost 1 year gap in this group.

Some time ago I switched to Sprucemarks. Has more options than I need, but handles the sorting (one time or automatic) perfectly.
