Build error ... boost

Hello,

I'm trying to build supersonic on RHEL linux.

I'm facing problems including boost in the build.

$ ./configure --with-boost=/local/boost --with-boost-libdir=/local/boost/lib

...

checking for boostlib >= 1.20.0... yes

checking whether the Boost::System library is available... yes

checking for exit in -lboost_system... yes

checking whether the Boost::Timer library is available... yes

checking for exit in -lboost_timer... no

checking for exit in -lboost_timer... (cached) no

checking for exit in -lboost_timer... (cached) no

configure: error: Could not link against boost_timer !

Any advice ?
