Over the weekend the cloud computing project Distributed Chaffin Method finished w=121 confirming 643 max. permutations.

Moved on to w=122. Feelings are it will confirm 648 max. permutations

Future interesting achievements are:
-Better results for w=123, 131, 135, 143 (with more permutations than currently known strings).

PS. Jay please update the timing table.

Hi everyone,

I have finally updated the timing table for w=121. It took longer than normal because I had archived a big chunk of the database of finished tasks (which is well over 100gb), and so I had to go back and fish that data out of the archive. I'm hoping that with w=122 we start to see a significant effect from the extra pruning that kicks in for w>120, but I really have no idea whether this will be the case. I agree that it would be great if someone finds improved partial superpermutations for the w-values that are coming up next, to help the search get a head start.
