Local Ghost Hunters Appear On The Maury Povich Show
January 25, 2007 - "About a week ago, I received a telephone call
from a New York City Producer. We get these calls all the time from
media looking for a scary ghost story and that's what I figured it
was again. I didn't realize they were calling us specifically and I
had no idea it was Maury Povich" said Dwayne Claud, director of
Western New York Paranormal. The show was putting together an episode
that focused on connections that families have made with the spirits
inhabiting their homes. Western New York Paranormal had a case locally
that the show was very interested in sharing with their audience.
"What made the case unique is that it is surrounded a now three year
old child from Orleans County" said Claud. Briefly, the family was
experiencing things in their home that they could not explain. There
were voices and smells from no where, physical touches, moving objects,
and images in photographs and video that they just couldn't explain.
The Maury Povich Show turned to Western New York Paranormal because of
the tremendous amount of evidence that was captured at the home.
International Psychic Jeffery Wands with a team of television producers
arrived at the home late Sunday afternoon where they interviewed Mike,
Faith and their son Mikey, and their psychic provided some very
interesting perceptions of the home and the spirits within that
correlated with activity that has happened there. These are things that
Wands would have no manner of knowing that shocked the family.
The crew followed the team of Western New York Paranormal through the
home as they conducted their paranormal investigation. Team members
included Director Dwayne Claud of Leicester, New York - Stacie Barry,
EVP Specialist of Greece, New York, Jennifer Edmiston Video Specialist
of Williamsville, New York - Sarah Claud, Dowser and team sensitive,
Rich and Liza Edier Research and Development from Canandaigua New York.
The results they found that evening were very interesting.
The show taped in New York City on January 24th with both the family
and team present as Maury's guests. The show is scheduled to air on
January 30, 2007 nationally, locally it can be seen in Rochester on Fox
31 4 PM and in Buffalo on Fox 29 at 10:00 AM.
