Hi,
? what causes "flickering" cursors (rapid repetitive alteration of two cursor 'icons' ?
I notice this sometimes when over the Supercard 4.83d3 HELP project window(?s); alternating browse and pointer cursors.
I just noticed it over a png image file when using image annotation tools IN PREVIEW;
alternating pen and pointer cursors.

on idle handler

Can “flickering cursor” (a->b->a)n  be diagnostic of the dynamic state of the cpu ?

I just walked by a bookcase here with a few ancient Hardy Boys mysteries from my youth - one being, “The Flickering Torch Mystery” - turned out to be smugglers sneaking ashore in the wee hours of the night - right about this time…

Alas all I can really say for sure is "It's not supposed to do that!"
