In the release version of SC 4.8, draw polygons are not antialiasing when the antialias of the window is set to true. Ovals appear antialiased as expected. When actually clicking the points to draw the shape, the outline is antialiased, but as soon as the polygon is closed and renders it draws in the old non-antialiased style.

I'm not seeing this here. What system are you on?

Hi Scott,
I'm seeing this on Mac OS 10.9 on a Mac mini and on Mac OS 10.13 on a MacBook Air. Yesterday some of the polygons became antialiased when I changed their penfore or fillfore. Today I can't get any new polygons I draw to become antialiased.
Thanks
Alec

In fact today I'm drawing new ovals which aren't showing up antialiased. The ones I made yesterday are still antialiased however.

What happens if you toggle the antiAlias property?

When I toggle it to off everything is jagged. When I switch it back on again, the shapes that had managed to antialias correctly before return to being antialiased. But all of the ones which refused to antialias stay jagged in appearance.

Is this an old existing project or do you see this behavior in a newly created one? And if the latter, can you post it here?

It’s in a brand new project. I’m out at the moment, I will post the project when I get back to my Mac.

Here is the project. I've also attached two images, one when antialiasing is on and one when it is off. The shapes I have moved to the right hand side of the window never seem to antialias.
draw shapes antialiasing.sc45.zip
Antialias off.png
Antialias on.png

FWIW the project exhibits the same behavior here. Drawing in the background seemd to work okay.

Issue here was grouped graphics shutdown the antialiasing.

Fixed for 4.8.1.
