My dear Friends,

I am deeply saddened by the news
and my heart goes out to each of you,
as well as to Scott's loved ones.

To honor Scott's memory, I propose
that a company consider taking over
and further developing SuperCard.
This would not only ensure the con-
tinued existence of this valuable tool
but also serve as a lasting tribute to
Scott's contributions.

Alternatively, the user community
could step in and maintain SuperCard
as an open-source project. This approach
has proven successful with other software,
such as Python, and would allow for
continued development and innovation
while preserving Scott's legacy.

I would love to hear your thoughts
on this matter.

With heartfelt condolences,

Karl

I don't think there's any more fine-grained control over this; it's a mailing list.

I am an amateur programmer, a retired educator, with lots of time on my hands. If there are less important jobs to make any of this happen, I am volunteering.
Could we make a tribute project for him?  Something we can put together for the family?  I am disabled, and isolated, and Supercard has been my PRIMARY source of entertainment and joy for years.
I love you all, let me know how I can help.
