Help? Supercard bounces as if starting up in the dock and then stops; no Supercard (v. 4.8b32)

Tried reloading it, other programs work, threw out the old versions and the support files and tried again; no luck.

Using High Sierra 10.13.3 on a MacBook Pro.

Any suggestions?

I have the beta but it won't let me download 4.8.

Since the official release is out, likely the beta is expired. 4.8 is a piad upgrade.
