Will I be able to export SC from my old laptop to a Virtual Machine on a new Mac?

Yes and no.

You should be able to just compress the files on your old Mac (SuperCard folders in Applications, and Application Support), then copy them into a Virtual Machine that emulates an Intel Mac on your new (presumably Apple Silicon) Mac, type in your serial number again and it will probably work.

Finding an Intel-Emulating Virtual Machine might be harder. AFAIK VMWare and Parallels just *virtualize* the existing CPU so that means on an M4 Mac, they will give you a second computer with an M4 CPU.

You could try out VirtualBox or UTM (they have both Intel and Apple Silicon versions, AFAIK), I think those emulate an Intel CPU. However, unlike Parallels, they do not emulate the graphics card, so the emulated computer will probably be a bit slow.

Note: If you get the error message "This copy of Install macOS Mojave is damaged and can't be used to install macOS" (or similar) when trying to install MacOS in the VM, you may have to bring up Terminal from the installer's Utilities menu in the VirtualBox/UTM VM and type in "date 0919220019" (without the quotes) to temporarily change the VM's clock to somewhere before the installer's certificate expired. Then the installer will run through.
