Hi

If you're still wondering whether to come to Supermondays this month,
here's a few tasters in video form:

* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYO9N4kDK_o

Our main speaker Sam Aaron talks about "Teaching computer science with
music", giving an excellent review of the opportunities and
possibilities available for programming with music.

* http://vimeo.com/61097922

Sam again in a "live coding" music performance in Bristol.

* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t4bH7Z-Yt4

And finally, a demo of programming your own explosions in Minecraft,
from http://mcpipy.wordpress.com/2014/01/22/blocks-into-bombs-using-events/

As well as learning more about Sonic Pi and Minecraft, Supermondays is
also a good opportunity to meet and talk with like-minded people and
share information. We're hoping this will be particularly useful for
teachers as they start teaching new content this year, and that it
encourages more IT professionals to participate in schemes like Code
Club that support the great work teachers are doing.

We hope you can make it!
